3193 Tape Measure Tethering Kit allows you to tether a standard tape measure with a maximum capacity of 2 lb., preventing dropped objects when working at heights. Kit includes a Squids 3100F(x) Single Carabiner Tool Lanyard and 3770 Tape Measure Trap. Shock-absorbing lanyard reduces the dynamic force on your body or anchor point if a drop occurs. Durable, 1680D polyester, elastic-blended webbing extends 38" to 48" long. Lightweight design reduces snag hazards and added weight. Treaded loop end grips the tool when attached to the trap's D-ring. Anodized aluminum alloy, manual-locking carabiner with locking screwgate enhances support. Holder is made with rugged, 1200D and 600D polyester material to ensure a long life in the toughest conditions. Adjustable, hook-and-loop straps accommodate a variety of tape measure sizes without limiting usability. Large size fits tape measures that extend from 16' to 35' long. Kit meets the ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 standard for dropped object prevention.
